Perio C Dent (Perio-Centered Dentistry) is committed to the production of ethical and client-driven periodontal/dental teams. We are dedicated to training dental hygienists to practice as professional health-dedicated hygienists in dental practices that adopt the following attributes:

1. Periodontal therapy requires that elements of evidence-based thinking be clearly understood and applied in clinical decision making and referral to a periodontist.

2. Optimal dental hygiene departments require customized in-service training with an appropriate consultant/educator, continuing education and modern equipment and technology. 

3. Incorporation of a humanistic approach to dental hygiene care will enable the practitioner to effectively reduce the patient's level of anxiety, fears and pain, leading to greater levels of comfort and acceptance of optimal care. 

4. Client-driven periodontal therapy is derived as a result of sound business principles, effective scheduling and regular monitoring. The client's periodontal diagnosis determines treatment therapy.
